When all the tools are in place as I’ve outlined in the previous posts, now you need to put some “fuel into your viral marketing engine”.
The easiest way to do that is by setting up a “bird dog” system, or “ant farm”.
They are both the same, I somewhat prefer the name “ant farm”, because it’s full of the best analogies from the wonderful world of busy animals, whereas dogs are comparatively lazy. However, “bird dog” is a somewhat more familiar name for it.
To some extend you could also just call it an “affiliate program”, although this may turn off people who associate MLM (multi-level-marketing) when they hear that.
So, how does it work?
Here is a simple three-step system:
Step 1: Recrute an “army of ants” that will bring you leads. Traditionally, ant farms are set up to bring you only property leads (motivated sellers). But the key to building your “Viral Real Estate Empire” is to expand that beyond sellers.
The leads can be properties (sellers), investors (wholesale buyers), qualified retail buyers, or “lease/option” buyers. More on that in a few…
Step 2: Train the ant farm on how to generate leads by driving traffic to your viral marketing tools. (The only extra piece of information that you will need to collect is some sort of “ant farm member id” so you can track each lead back to the specific ant that brought it in.
Step 3: Integrate all leads into your automated follow-up system and start doing deals and matching leads etc.
This is free traffic to your web site. You can think of it as a way of setting up multiple store fronts of your online store - one for each ant in your farm.
BTW: If you would like to enroll in our own “ant farm”, you can do it here: ant farm enrollment form.
