Real Estate Marketing 2.0…

”Web 2.0″ is the catch-all term for web sites and tools that focus on interactivity with visitors, and communication with and between visitors to a web site.

There are the “Big 2″, MySpace.com and FaceBook.com, but there are also many smaller more specialized social networks that attract personal and professional visitors around a specfic subject.

And that’s true for real estate as well. Real etstate professionals can network with each other, exchange information and attract customers using these social networks.

How cool would it be if you had a way to let all your “friends” across several social networking sites, blogs and virtual communities, know about a new wholesale deal you just picked up? Or a listing that meets certain criteria? Or a buyer who is looking for a specific kind of property in a certain area.

Up until now, the most that real estate agents would do is put a sticky note on the office bulletin board, or maybe mention his/her new listings in the weekly office meeting.

What if you could share information across a vast network of other agents, mortgage borkers, and even real estate investors (and still keep your interest in the property or buyer protected)?

Here is what you would need:

  1. A “vehicle” to spread the information
  2. A network that would broadcast the information for you
  3. As many “outlets” on the network as possible that would display your information
  4. A way to grow the network exponentially in a short time

Stay tuned for more… it’s coming!

Meanwhile, build your own blog NOW if you don’t have one yet, and set up your profile on MySpace.com and FaceBook.com. It’s easy, and it’s free! Just follow the directions given in some of the other blog posts on this blog.
